MSI dod a great job with the new Mosfed (beefed up Voltage regulator). How ever we have built over 25 computers with this same board in the last 6 months, and NONE of them were DOA or have failed. And these all went into a high end medical complex, that makes heavy use of ERM. So I would advise not over looking this board simply because a few people had problems with single board purchases, as we have purchased a qty with out issues.

Got the system up and running without a single difficulties with hardware or drivers (Windows XP Pro, btw) Cons: One itty bitty thing I noticed was that the first SATA plug sits directly under the cooling assembly for my video card (EVGA 320 8800 GTS). This make it unreachable unless I were to use a SATA cable witan angled or shorter connector head. Layout makes sense for the most part, the 90degree IDE port is a plus. Manual is rather detailed, and covers pretty much everything. BIOS is above average, bordering on excellent. Cons: Lemme explain good cooling for any potential OC'ers. Case airflow is everything, a single 80mm fan is just unhealthy no matter what board you use. The only reason these boards fail when running a 125w proc is because of the heat that builds up in the MOSFETs. Check the V2 and you'll see a big red heatsink next to the socket. First install I've done where my OS didn't get corrupted. I didn't have any memory errors and I installed it with 2 x 1GB of Mushkin memory. System is stable after running burn in tests. It sees my dual channel 1066 kingston hyperx as 800, until I put a phenon in next week when it arrives kicking that to 1066 dual channel.

We try the safe mode, and now only one of the RAM slots is operational. So before I had 4GB RAM, now I only have 2GB ram.
